Extremely Happy With Item – Nikon Digital Camera Model Critique

As for the picture quality – I did not like how it works inside – always need flash and the pictures still come out sub-optimal. This is common with all such insulated cameras.

It does have a slow return so I need to find that option of turning off the preview to make the return quicker. The camera is great. However, the first time I took it in the water (a swimming pool), it leaked and died. Being past the 1-year warrantee, I could do nothing but replace it.

In the box you’ll find a quick start guide, but if you want the full user manual, you’ll need to download it from Olympus as a PDF file. This camera is feature dense, the user manual is 80+ pages long, and it should have been included in the box. I highly recommend this camera. The fact that it is a factory reconditioned camera with full warranty at a fraction of the cost of a new one is just icing on the cake. It’s likely the two “hates” that I listed were indications of a defective camera. The SEVEN items that I listed above that are reasons enough that I would not recommend the camera to anyone. Unfortunately it does not allow adding a date stamp directly on the jpeg image files. Not good. However if it’s an amazing photos you want this might not be the camera for you. Only a couple years newer than the 790W, but the display is brighter, sharper, and the video capability is awesome. I have a 14GB-Class-10 memory card installed. Class-10 is the fastest card there is. Do NOT buy an Olympus tough. It is truly awful.

It is a little heavier than I expected and a little bigger (buying a case for it was a little tricky). Overall it is a nice looking camera that is easy to use.

I really like it. I’ve owned this camera for about 3 months. I took it down to about 6 feet of salt water and it didn’t miss a beat. The pictures were crisp, the video worked very well and I couldn’t be happier. With my other cameras I would never have use the software that came with it, but on this one I will. Awesome camera and I would defiantly buy a refirb again if I saw something I wanted.

We thought it was just a glitch and moved on.
